Challenge

Camden Town Brewery has teamed up with the UK biggest spread - Marmite. Yes. Marmite. This collaboration aims to increase the brand’s meaning and drive national awareness. The brand has been teasing the launch of it’s Marmite beer for a while and it needs an impactful video to accompany the launch.

Idea

Remembering Marmite’s iconic “Kiss” campaign form the naughties we decided to recreate it but with a Camden Town Brewery twist. The aim was to cause debate among beer lovers across the country which the original Marmite ad did such a good job at bringing to life the divisive nature of the nation’s favourite spread.

Results

The ad was an amazing success, it was played during another iconic British thing, the Great British Bakeoff show. As soon as it aired the web sales went through the roof and the video got an impressive amount of coverage online.
